AHFC CHRISTMAS MESSAGE 2016

TO AVONDALE HEIGHTS FOOTBALL CLUB PLAYERS, SUPPORTERS, FAMILIES AND SPONSORS
The year 2016 is coming to a close and we also see a new exciting year about to begin.

VISION
Our club has a vision to provide the best possible environment for all players, their families and supporters and to achieve success at all levels as a football club, embracing all challenges both on and off the field. We continue to forge our way as a leading club in the EDFL, being bold, focused and determined to gain success.

FACILITIES:
Our club, through the Avondale Heights Sporting Club continue to work hard to further improve our facilities for our ever growing club. We strive to be a leader in the EDFL with our facilities and are proud to have the player facilities that we have. We are able to play night games with oval lighting and now have a fantastic LED scoreboard. We will have a new time keeper's box next season and the coaching and players bench area has recently been improved.

CULTURE:
We continue to strengthen our club’s culture by creating and developing programs and policies to educate and improve. We invest in good people and they reinvest into the club. Our club is still the only EDFL club to have been awarded AFL Victoria Gold Accreditation and only one of four clubs from the 1200 clubs in Victoria with this level of accreditation .

COMMUNITY:
We encourage partnerships with local businesses and community groups. As well as supporting all of our sponsors, our club supports local charities and fundraising causes.

FUTURE:
Season 2016 saw an increase in junior teams and we had three teams winning there respective EDFL Premiership. In season 2017, we will continue to grow with the introduction of youth girls teams. Auskick will be located permanently at Canning Reserve in 2017 and be conducted on Friday nights under lights. Our club has a new president and committee and the future is exciting. We will continue to strive to achieve sustained success both on and off the field.

Finally, the Avondale Heights Football Club would like to wish everyone a Merry Christmas and a Safe and Happy New Year.
