Well done players, coaches, volunteers and parents.

AVONDALE HEIGHTS U12’S DIVISION 3 WIN PRELIMINARY FINAL
The Under 12’s Division 3 will progress into the Grand Final next week after an emphatic win against Tullamarine at Keilor Park Reserve. The Heights won 8:3:51 to Tullamarine 2:3:15. AVONDALE HEIGHTS U16’S DIVISION 2 LOSE PRELIMINARY FINAL
The Avondale Heights Football Club Under 16's Division 2 team went down in their Preliminary Final match against East Keilor at Jacana Reserve today by the narrowest of margins. The final score was East Keilor 13:8:86 to Avondale Heights 13:7:85 bringing the U16's season to an end. Congratulations to East Keilor. Avondale Heights players, coaching staff, support volunteers and parents will feel disappointed that the team will not progress to next week and have an opportunity to win the Grand Final. As much as the team will reflect on the result with disappointment, the club can only be proud of the team's efforts today and for the entire season. This group have come a long way over the last two seasons. For the first time in over 20 years, our club fielded two teams at this age group and both Under 16 teams reached the Preliminary Final stage in their respective division. With our club's objective to develop our players to become senior players for our club or to play football at a higher level, the hard work that has been done by John Markham and support coaches in developing these boys is commendable.
