VALE: JORDAN LORENZI
It is with deep sadness to advise that Jordan Lorenzi passed away today, 29 January 2017 at 1:15 am. Jordan played football for Avondale Heights from 2006 until 2012 and only a battle with illness stopped him from continuing. He loved playing for the club and more importantly being with his mates. He played over 100 games for the club from Under 12 to Under 18 level. Jordan was only 22 when he died but the legacy that he left with our club is to keep fighting and always be positive. Together with Jordan came his family, younger brother Ben who continues to play for the club, parents Andrew and Dianne who were fantastic contributors to the club as volunteers and younger sister Cassandra who grew up at the club. As with children playing junior football, it becomes a real family affair with mums and dads and siblings spending a lot of time around the club. This is where friendships are forged and the Lorenzi family were part of our family.
Jordan put up a brave fight and he is now at peace. Our thoughts and love are with the Lorenzi family.
