HEIGHTS SENIOR WOMEN'S TEAM 2020
Avondale Heights Football Club has fielded a Senior Women’s Team in the last 2 season’s. Our Women’s program continues to grow with an amazing support team to ensure our girls have the opportunity to learn and enjoy their Footy. We are seeking New Players to wear the Big White V
Senior Women’s Coach Caleb Morgan.
Caleb joined our club last year through an introduction from Donald MacDonald. Caleb is the senior Runner and is in charge of the fitness program for the Senior Men’s Teams. Caleb has extensive experience in all sports through his education and the club could not be happier to secure his services
Senior Women’s Co-ordinator Andrea Markham.
After many years on the sidelines supporting her husband, Son Lucas and Daughter Emily, Andrea has stepped up to take on the role of Co-Ordinator.
This is a call out to everyone to get the message out to all your Female family, friends, colleagues to get on board no matter their Fitness or Skill Level. The enjoyment the girls get from playing footy through the Teamsmanship and Comradery is something they are missing out on if they are not involved.
There is nothing better than standing Side by Side with your Team Mate!!!
All new players will be welcomed with open arms. You will not be expected to run lap after lap, you will not be expected to kick, mark or handball straight away. We are here to provide a great environment that will allow you to be a part of a team and strive to achieve together.
Caleb is away for the remainder of the 2019 preseason and John Markham will take training for the next two week
Training is at our Home Ground – Canning Street Reserve – 6:00 pm start (1 hour session). If you arrive early come out and introduce yourself, we would like to meet you and make you feel as comfortable as possible
Next Sessions:
Thursday 12/12 – Bar Open after training
Tuesday 17/12
Friday 20/12 – Followed by AHFC Christmas Break up , food, Bar open, Live Music – Bring the family, All welcome
