HEIGHTS U12 GIRLS COACHES ANNOUNCED

Avondale Heights Football Club are excited to announce the appointment of Emily Markham and Tricia Devine  as coaches for our Under 12 girls team in 2023.
Emily has  AHFC blood, with her grandparents founding members of AHFC in 1965. Her grandfather, Alf, was the first life member of the club. Emily's dad played over 300 games at the club and was awarded life member in 2015. Emily played in the first senior women’s team for AHFC in 2018 and was co captain in 2020. 
"I have always loved the club and felt a strong connection to the community and history. I believe our club has a great culture where all are welcome and it feels like home"
Tricia’s achievements include being club captain for 8 years with 4 at Tullamarine , including co-captaining her first senior premiership in 2022 and being named again for the 2023 season. Tricia was named Captain of the EDFL Team Of the Year in 2020 and listed/positioned midfield and backline in the league team of the year in 2018, 2020 and 2022. Tricia has also won 6 club 1st place best & fairest and has represented footy at different levels. Tricia has recently become apart of the Avondale community and has loved being involved in the positive environment. Tricia aims to share her passion onto the girls and generate plenty of belief and fun within the team.
