HEIGHTS UPDATE -OCTOBER 2020
To all the #WeAreAvondale family,
Just a quick note and brief update regarding what’s been happening over recent months.
It’s been a tough period and I would like to express my well wishes to all involved with our great club through these hard times.
Season 2020 was taking shape nicely with the additions to the senior playing list, a vibrant and very well organised junior section taking huge positive strides, securing multiple new club sponsors and the consolidation across all areas of club operations starting to occur.
The introduction of the 100 club senior game day raffle for 2020 was well on its way with in excess of 100 tickets sold before Co Vid hit. These tickets will roll over into season 2021 with a view to double the numbers involved.
As a football club, we are working extremely hard behind the scenes, securing the current senior playing list, interviewing potential recruits, awaiting the hopeful lifting of restrictions to continue revamping the social club area, continuing to build on the great work of the junior section and preparing for a fruitful season 2021 at both senior and junior level.
I would also like to take this opportunity to thank our club sponsors for sticking by us and supporting the club through these tough times and look forward to continuing these relationships into the future.
The Avondale Heights Football Club is now looking towards building our social club membership numbers for season 2021 in an attempt to assist tackling the challenges that lay ahead. We are calling out to the “Heights Family” to help us build into the future and in saying this, we ask you to join the “Mighty Heights” in season 2021 by becoming a social member today for $50.
