MATTHEW LLOYD BACK AT THE HEIGHTS

Former Essendon Football Club player and champion Matthew Lloyd returned to his former primary school St Martin de Porres for the school’s annual fete on Sunday 22 November 2015. As a young boy, Matthew attended the Avondale Heights Auskick that was conducted at the school.  Matthew then went on to play for the Avondale Heights Football Club, before being recruited by the Essendon Football Club where he became a club legend. Matthew has fond memories of his days at the Avondale Heights Football Club and is right behind the club’s junior development structure for 2016 including the junior football development program and the Avondale Heights Auskick program.
