VALE:RON KERR-FUNERAL ARRANGEMENTS


It is with deep sadness that we inform you of the passing of Ron Kerr. Ron became involved at the football club from the 1970's when his sons Gavin and Scott started playing junior football. Ron's voluntary contribution at the time was broad and included assisting at junior training,on game day and on junior committees.
In later years, Ron became involved on senior committees for a number of years. Ron became senior team manager from 2002 and held the position for a few years which included the highlight of being the team manager of the undefeated EDFL 2004 B Grade senior premiership team. Ron's pride in being involved with the premiership team was heightened due to his son Gavin being the senior coach and son Scott being a key member of the team.  In 2005, Ron Kerr was inducted as a Life Member of the Avondale Heights Football Club as an acknowledgement of his contribution to our club.
The Avondale Heights Football Club community wish to pass on our sincere condolences to  Gavin, Scott and all family members at this very tough time.

The Funeral arrangements for Ron Kerr are as follows:
Date: Wednesday 5th January
Location; St Mary's Church. St Leonards Road Ascot Vale
Time: 11;00 am.
Followed by burial at Keilor Cemetery , then a celebration at Hyatt Essendon Fields from1:30pm.
